INTRO- A bit more info, in full!
Welcome to Kym Marsh online. Our idol, Kym has a wicked sense of humour and can be wickedly funny. Also not afraid to say what she thinks. She is totally down to earth and has a powerful voice, everything needed to be a star... natural talent. Thats why we admire her!
She came onto our screens in 2001 for talent show "popstars" where she struggled through tough auditions to make it into the final band, Hear'say! Some (most) people say that her voice was most definately the strongest of the group. Powerful, Kym has the voice of an angel!
Kym has two young children - David, and Emily, aged 5 and 7. At first she kept her children a secret from the judges because she thought that it would ruin her chances of being in the band, but thankfully it didn't! They now live with her and Jack in their Hertfordshire home along with their grandparents, Kyms parents Dave and Pauline Marsh.
Kym decided to leave Hear'Say in January 2002 to pursue solo interests. She blamed nobody for her departure but said "it just wasn't working out, I didn't fit in, it was the best thing to do" We wish her well in whatever she pursues. We know she will do well 'cause she's our super star!!! Knock'em dead!
Kym met Jack (Ryder) last may at the canteen of the BBC, Elstree studios in Watford whilst Kym was recording TOTP with Hearsay and Jack was on a break from shooting Eastenders. Love blossomed quick and before you know it theyre engaged. The wonderful couple got hitched at St Albans cathedral in Hertfordshire on August 10th 2002. We're so happy and proud for them! And know they will have a happy future together. You can see the photos on "The wedding", although I'm sure you've all bought issue OK! issue 329 and 330! :)
UNIVERSAL ISLAND RECORDS SIGNED HER UP FOR 6 ALBUMS!!! SO YOU WILL BE SEEING HER NEW SOLO STUFF AROUND FEBRUARY 2003 AND SHE RELEASES HER FIRST SINGLE ON APRIL 7TH.
